Plus Size Fashion: Coast at Simply Be

I am back at university and it’s been a manic couple of weeks getting into the swing of it, while figuring out how to deal with my anxiety and agoraphobia issues. So far so good!

I do have a little list of posts I want to make and will be starting to schedule them soon, I was too excited to not post about this tonight, so here is a quick plus size fashion post.

I am sure some of you can relate with me about coveting straight size brands and wishing the made clothing in my size.

whenever I have had a wedding or a big party I have walked past the Coast section with a sigh of resignation that’s all the beautiful dresses just aren’t for me, so when I popped onto simply be tonight, I gave a little squeal of delight that Coast have released a plus size range.

I was disappointed to see it is almost exclusively black, as although I live in dark colours I do love a beautiful bright colour for a party. Fingers crossed they will add more and don’t think that fat needs to be hidden by dark colour.

I have picked out a few of my favourites.

Coast Chloe Metallic Dress

This dress is just gorgeous, I would love to wear this to my husband work party!

Coast Toola Black Cap Dress

I love how simple this dress is, it would make me feel very sophisticated and slinky it also appeals to the grownup goth in me!

Coast Rochelle Jacquard Skirt

how pretty is this! I could team it with black, but I think I would team it with the top below or a similar Jewel coloured top.

Coast Ruvern Sequin Top

just beautiful and would be stunning with tailored trousers or jeans, I do like a versatile option.

The prices are pretty high but for a special occasion, it could be an option.

Simply Be have been bringing some excellent brands to us recently Closet is another firm favourite of mine, I do have one of their gorgeous dresses to show you as soon as I get a chance to take some photos and hopefully I will have another post up for you soon!

  1. I totally feel you on the back to uni struggle! It’s so hard getting back into the swing of things! I think it would be a little easier if I had that gorgeous sequin top to wear to lecture tho… 😉
